Job Summary
Solving our country’s energy and environmental challenges requires new solutions and investments. Dominion Energy’s Renewable National Gas (RNG) initiative is an exciting piece of this complex puzzle. By partnering directly with dairy farmers, Dominion Energy’s RNG infrastructure captures methane from manure for energy needs and produces valuable water and bedding resources. With effective management, these projects are a win for farmers, Dominion Energy, and the environment.
The Business Performance Analyst will be a member of small team that manages the back-office business operations of the RNG division. They will provide direct support on a variety of administrative, accounting, and finance activities to include:
- Managing invoices and accounts payable functions
- Assist in variance analysis related to RNG budgets
- Assist in supplying data for industry compliance
- Help administer performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements
- Identify and implement better work and business processes
- Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies
- Perform varied analyses of an economic and business nature.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
- 2+ years of work experience directly related to accounting, finance, and/or business administration
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects
- Proven ability to gather, manage, and analyze business data
- Ability to effectively pivot between competing priorities and projects
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP & Excel preferred
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Preferred Candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance
