We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

This role in the Advanced Data Solutions group will support reporting, process improvements, and automation opportunities to the Customer Experience. This role will be filled at the mid level or senior level based on experience.

 

This position will facilitate the Customer Experience (CX) strategy by: 

Leading discovery efforts to identify gaps in existing processes. Creating and managing those projects end-to-end, from sponsorship, through development, to the stakeholders after implementation. Create complex data models using ETL tools such as Alteryx. Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide visibility to DEV KPIs, Red flag reporting, and other critical metrics in the business. Using a variety of automation solutions to make processes more efficient and/or increase revenue. Train, enable and assist partnering groups to become self-sufficient with new technology used in the process improvement projects implemented in their respective groups. Support BPEM automation in the CX organization. Providing leadership with the integral data and recommendations needed to solve business problems. Providing consultation on complex problems that involve multi-system investigation and cross functional coordination. Defining and developing performance metrics to ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Conducting industry-wide research and analysis. Support Finance, Accounting, Distribution and Rates departments (among others) with ad hoc data requests. Supporting storm related activities.  


 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Mid-Level: 3+ years’ experience in data management, utility or similar industry experience required. 

Senior Level: 5+ years’ experience in data management, utility or similar industry experience required. 

  • Self-starter, demonstrating self-reliance and resourcefulness.
  • Familiarity with a variety of technical data solutions including Excel, Visio, SQL queries, scripts, robotic process automation, Power BI and Alteryx workflows (or similar applications).
  • Proficiency in the application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously, including coordination of assigned projects, planning, scheduling and time management. 
  • Ability to apply sound analytical thinking to effectively analyze relevant information and reach independent recommendations.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated concern for quality, ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures.
  • Ability to create effective relationships with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve complex business problems.
  • Finance and accounting experience is a plus.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s): Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance. IT, Data Analytics.

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
