We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
- Responsible for project management of high volume, less complex Electric Distribution projects (ex: cable R/P; equipment R/P, & line maintenance/relocations)
- Point of contact with key stakeholders on project issues
- Manage pre-construction planning/mobilization, engineering, and environmental compliance in support of project objectives.
- Responsible for project schedule, resource allocation, and change orders.
- Work with CRM team to create and establish project schedule key milestones
- Ensure appropriate document control (progress updates, invoices, change orders process) are in place; manage project reporting and financial dashboard (i.e. project settlement, billing, and variance explanations/reviews)
- Manage and document scope changes, ensuring changes are fully reviewed, and appropriately documented through proper change management process
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
This successful candidate will be able to report to either the Farifax office or Lincoln Park (Herndon) office.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
• 5-6+ years of related experience in project management and in the project area.
• Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
• Team building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
• Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Liberal Arts
• Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
