We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
Engages proactively with Business Unit stakeholders to advance strategic sourcing goals and savings targets. Performs total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses and supports execution of related contracting initiatives. Contributes to strategic planning for assigned categories and engages with Business Units on category strategies and objectives. Supports the formulation of negotiation strategies and leads execution of savings initiatives, providing regular updates to Supply Chain leadership and Business Unit leadership. Conducts market assessments to evaluate cost impacts and maintains strategic supplier relationships. Works with suppliers and internal users to resolve category‑specific implementation issues.
Designs complex bid schemes, including multi-year contract structures, with option years, cost escalation formulas based on known indices, cost‑improvement targets, joint technical development, and intellectual property considerations. Leads negotiations on pricing, delivery, and commercial terms for highly complex equipment and services contracts.
Drives cross‑functional, enterprise‑level category initiatives and conducts market analyses to identify strategic opportunities and best practices. Provides leadership and technical procurement guidance to project‑based teams and serves as team lead when required. Manages supplier relationships, maintains category‑specific supplier lists, and drives supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs and supplier performance evaluations with the Business Unit. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Identifies and mitigates supply‑chain risks, including supplier disruptions and material shortages, and supports internal and external audit activities.
Proficient in SAP procurement systems and skilled in developing comprehensive reports and presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership using Snowflake, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
5-6+ years of related experience.
- Exposure to customer business processes and objectives.
- Basic understanding of business cost drivers.
- General knowledge of assigned categories.
- Excellent communications skills that allow clear articulation of business cases and development of effective presentations.
- Analytic toolset that will support the creation of financial targets, spend analysis, building of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models, and capture of TCO data.
- Ability to develop detailed project plans and to provide project reporting.
- Ability to support the development of a structured negotiation strategy, under the guidance of the Category Management Consultant.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
