Job Summary
Performs work associated with receiving, storing, and issuing materials. May perform some or all of the following tasks. Receives and inspects incoming materials, verifying quantity and condition. Selects and issues items from stock. Sorts, packages, and identifies materials to stock. Separates and prepares materials for receipt inspection. Operates computer systems, hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment, including fork trucks and light duty trucks. Prepares purchase requisitions to reorder depleted stock items. Processes paperwork associated with purchase requisitions, plant procedures, and requirements. Performs periodic material cycle counts. Updates and purges files of unused or outdated materials. Responds to customers on availability of stocked items, and provides necessary support.
This position will require the ability to work second shift for extended periods of time 3.pm to 1am Monday through Thursday.
This position will require oncall status for a week at a time. That requires 24hr readiness to be called into the station to support anyone of our duty's.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
5+ years of related experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Personal computer skills.
- Experience with SAP, preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret and comply with company and department procedures accurately.
- Ability to check and maintain stock inventory.
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Ability to lift 65 lbs.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.
- Ability to aquire and maintain Dosimetry necessary to work in radiological areas at the station.
- Working knowledge of excell spreadsheet a plus for this position.
- Cycle count skills, ability to count and maintain through SAP an accurate count of all materials recieved and maintained in the WHSE inventory.
Education Requirements
Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree):
High School Graduate or GED
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Valid forklift license.
