Job Summary

Provide management and direction to the execution of all capital and major plant modification projects for Nuclear Site Services. Direct necessary resources including engineering, construction, and administration to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely and cost effective manner. Manage and control capital budget for the Station. Monitor and review the progress and performance of Nuclear Site Services' staff to ensure personnel, procedures and materials are in accordance with the guidelines. Maintain a high quality of work. Report to management on the progress and status of projects including budget, cost, schedule, and major problem areas. Provide direction on major O&M and Capital projects to engineering, project controls, and construction. Schedule, plan, and prioritize daily activities for project controls and construction departments. Develop design change implementation procedures in accordance with standard engineering requirements. Responsible for station housekeeping, vehicle maintenance, and tool control.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-8-10+ demonstrated proficiency in leading and directing projects and modifications.
-Strong communications with other managers as well as direct reports.

-Able to provide clear direction and expectations.  Able to effectively communicate with multiple levels in organization. 

-Demonstrated presentation skills to large groups of employees.  Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple groups; ability to motivate and lead an organization with limited direction.
-Fosters teamwork at the manager and worker level by communicating needs and expected outcomes.

-Ability to move resources across the organization to the most critical areas to improve overall performance. 

-Demonstrated capability to follow up on performance shortfalls and get organization to respond. 

-Broad knowledge of programs and functions across the station.  Perform general supervisory administrative duties including, but not limited to, budget control, employee performance reviews, coaching, and correcting.
-Knowledge of accounting practices/rules associated with capital expenditures.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor
