Job Summary
Dominion Energy is currently seeking a Programs Engineer I, II, or III for the Site Engineering Department at the Millstone Power Station in Waterford, CT.
Position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- The primary area of focus will be that of a nuclear program engineering in support of an operating nuclear power plant.
- Specific duties include the development of short- and long-term plans and maintenance strategies to maintain compliance with program documents, as well as the development and review of engineering technical evaluations supporting program-specific dispositions.
- Duties also include providing the primary engineering contact with the station organization and Dominion fleet on assigned programs along with problem resolution.
- Experience with License Renewal, Aging Management, Boric Acid Corrosion Control and In-Service Testing/Appendix J Programs is preferred.
- Additional duties, if required, support of component functional performance testing acceptance criteria, trace analysis, and test briefing.
Candidates will be expected to possess and further develop familiarity with their assigned area of responsibility. Training will be provided as appropriate to advance the candidate’s current knowledge and skills in their assigned area, as well as nuclear power plant operation.

REQUIRED ENGINEERING CRITERIA:
For placement of a candidate in the Engineer job series, the following criteria must be met:
Possess a 4-year Engineering degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program based on the year that the Engineering program was accredited by ABET, or
Possess a 4-year Engineering degree from an institution outside of the U.S. which is accredited through the country's own Engineering accrediting body under the Washington Accord as a full signatory, and is a degree that was recognized by the country's accrediting body on or after the date that full signatory status was achieved, or
Possess a 4-year degree in Engineering (non-ABET accredited), Physics, Chemistry, Math or Engineering Technology and a post-graduate Engineering degree from an institution where the undergraduate degree in the same Engineering discipline is ABET-accredited based on the year the Engineering program was accredited by ABET, or
Holds or has previously held a valid U.S. Professional Engineer license.
