Job Summary
Dominion Energy Bath County Power Station is seeking a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting power station operations and maintenance activities. Working alongside experienced technicians, the intern will assist with the inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment.
The intern will support preventative maintenance activities, collect and analyze data, participate in equipment inspections, and assist with projects related to instrumentation and control systems. This position provides valuable exposure to power generation equipment, plant operations, and industrial maintenance practices while developing technical and professional skills in a safe and team-oriented environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a graduation date of Fall 2028 and 2029.
- Must have a 2.5 GPA or above.

Hourly Rate:
$27.00 - $29.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
