Job Summary
Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Bath County Power Station. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a power generation environment while working alongside experienced professionals across multiple functional areas.
The intern will assist teams in areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services. Responsibilities may include supporting equipment inspections, collecting and analyzing operational data, assisting with project research, participating in process improvement initiatives, and contributing to station reliability and performance efforts.
Working under the guidance of station personnel, the intern will develop an understanding of power generation processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The intern will observe and participate in day-to-day plant activities, attend team meetings, and support projects that contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the station.

Education Requirements
Education Level:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Preferences in Discipline: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering
Must have an expected graduation date of Fall 2028 or 2029.
Must have a 2.5 GPA or above.

Hourly Rate:
$27.00 - $29.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
