Job Summary

Supervise the maintenance and repair activities of a company generating facility to provide reliable, efficient and economical electrical service to our customers, in a safe and responsible manner.  Plan and supervise daily and outage activities of craft employees by effectively using resources such as staffing, equipment and supplies to ensure optimum availability, productivity and safe operating performance.  Assign work orders, verify tagging, review drawings and specifications, acquire approvals, review scope, safety and completion of jobs.  Plan, schedule and conduct employee training to ensure a safe, efficient, quality workforce.  Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure efficient performance and to determine maintenance requirements.  Perform general supervisory administrative duties including, but not limited to, budget control, preparation of timesheets, O.T. callout lists, employee performance reviews, records, and work orders.  Maintain consistent administration of the IBEW contract and all company policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-5 years of related experience with Bachelor

*OR* High school diploma/GED with 9 years related experience to include at least 5 years directly related craft experience; Associate's degree with 7 years related experience (to include at least 5 years directly related craft experience)

-Related experience may be leadership, utility, electrical, or power generation;
-Must have at least 1 year of nuclear power plant experience
Preferred:  Completion of Dominion Energy's Electrical or Mechanical Development Program;
-Experience with maintaining and repairing power station or industrial electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and components;
-Experience in a supervisory or lead role to include experience supervising bargaining unit employees;
-Familiarity with work management and processes;
-Ability to write troubleshooting instructions/manuals

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor
