Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Gravel Neck Generating Station in Surry, VA. Working alongside experienced technicians, the intern will gain hands-on experience with instrumentation and control systems used to monitor and operate power generation equipment.
The intern will assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance activities, data collection, testing, troubleshooting support, and documentation updates. Opportunities may include supporting the calibration and maintenance of instruments such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and other control devices critical to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the station.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
Education Requirements
Education Level: Currently pursuing and enrolled in an an Associate's degree program in Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Must be graduating in Fall 2028 or 2029.
Must have a 3.0 GPA or above.

Hourly Rate:
$22.00 - $24.00
