Programmer Analyst or Senior Programmer Analyst

Job Summary

Job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Develop or modify information systems of moderate to major complexity; include analysis of business and customer needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing systems.
  • Work in most phases of systems development and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Develop, modify, maintain and enhance computer systems; participate in the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of computer production systems.
  • Participate in the design of detailed specifications for new systems development.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, debug and implement software code for components of Web applications.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements for Programmer Analyst:

  • 3+ years of relevant IT experience (programmer, engineer, technical analyst)
  • 1+ years of PHP programming experience

 

Minimum Requirements for Senior Programmer Analyst:

  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience (programmer, engineer, technical analyst)
  • 3+ years of PHP programming experience

 

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

  • Proficient in HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Good understanding of database design and writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with the following technologies a plus: XML, Web Services, HTML5, jQuery, Oracle, and Linux.

 

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics
