Job Summary

Dominion Energy is looking for a highly capable, performance-driven individual to lead a team of staffing professionals who play an integral part in recruiting, workforce development and planning for Dominion Energy.

The successful individual will supervise the recruiting and sourcing of candidates for positions within Dominion Energy and will foster and leverage relationships with diverse organizations. Our primary areas for sourcing candidates include: military/veteran organizations, educational institutions, community organizations, and an expanded focus on digital sourcing and employment branding. This person will work closely with other areas of Talent Acquisition leadership and business unit leaders to support external staffing needs and participate in employment related initiatives to meet the company's objectives.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day to day work activities of sourcing specialists, who are responsible for building a candidate pipeline by attending job fairs and career-events. This includes development of sourcing-focused standard operating procedures, processes and training; train existing and new employees on sourcing processes.
  • Work with Manager-Talent Acquisition to develop and implement effective metrics to measure sourcing efficacy and evaluate status and quality of candidate pipelines.
  • Develop and document strategic recruiting efforts to attract and recruit top, diverse talent to Dominion Energy.
  • Assist sourcing specialists in resolving customer issues, manage workload and other issues.
  • Organize recruitment strategy for large-scale hiring events, to include the development of a sourcing strategy that aligns to hiring needs, mobilize sourcing specialists, create presentations and provide updates to stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of the strategy.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues to develop new recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee relationships with search firms to ensure cost-effective, quality performance and reduce dependency and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, applicable laws and regulations as they relate to staffing and recruiting.
  • Conduct performance development sessions with staff members, provide feedback and handle mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • Work closely with Manager-Talent Aquisition to set the overall direction and vision for the work team.
  • Partner with Supervisor-Talent Acquisition (Recruitment), HR Business Engagement teams and Hiring Managers to obtain feedback on a routine basis to gauge team performance.
  • Perform sourcing for college recruitment, experienced exempt, 2-year technical, non-exempt, and temporary staffing.
  • Lead and participate on teams as assigned.
  • Frequent travel to other work locations, including but not limited to biannual meetings with direct reports who are based in Utah, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years related work experience in leadership, human resources, or project management (Note:  A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience;  A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.)
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting and sourcing techniques and employment policies and procedures
  • Considerable recruiting or human resources experience, with increasing responsibilities
  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams of individuals on large-scale projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization from executives to employees
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to drive results, strong analytical skills and process orientation
  • Proven customer service skills, demonstrated through previous work assignments
  • Ability to travel to other Dominion Energy locations, including Utah and Ohio, and off-site recruiting events
Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:  Bachelor
