We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
The HR Team supporting Dominion Energy Virginia (DEV) is seeking a highly capable, performance-driven individual to lead a team responsible for the sourcing, recruitment and hiring of employees. This person works closely with business unit leaders and HR Business Engagement teams to support staffing needs and employment related initiatives to meet the company's objectives.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Supervise the day-to-day work activities of a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to include training them on recruitment processes and systems.
• Work with HR Business Engagement leadership, in partnership with the Talent Strategy team, to set the overall direction and vision for the team.
• Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialists in resolving hiring challenges, managing workload and gaining a better understanding of the business.
• Obtain feedback from stakeholders on a regular basis to gauge team performance and ensure the delivery of effective recruiting practices.
• Establish a strong partnership with business leaders to ensure the understanding of current and future hiring needs. Collaborate with other Talent Acquisition and HR Business Engagement leaders in the development of an action plan to meet hiring needs.
• Implement equitable employment practices and ensure compliance with company policy, applicable laws and regulations as they relate to staffing and recruiting.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues on new recruitment strategies and stay abreast of and communicate industry recruiting overviews and market trends.
• Lead and/or participate in special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum of 7 years related work experience in human resources or leadership. Note: A Master’s degree can count towards one year of experience. A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
• Knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures
• Considerable human resources experience, with increasing responsibilities
• High degree of confidence and accuracy giving guidance and counsel to leaders
• Ability to use sound judgement and a high level of discretion when required to make independent decisions
• Ability to drive results and proven ability to lead teams of individuals on large-scale projects
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer service skills, demonstrated through previous work assignments
• Must be flexible and responsive and possess ability to frequently switch between tasks, work at a fast pace, and adapt to meet changing business needs
• Ability to develop and report on operational metrics
• Ability to regularly travel to other Dominion Energy locations and off-site recruiting events
