Job Summary
Under general supervision, supports Telecommunications Transport Infrastructure. Assists with the design, provisioning, configuration, alarming of Wide Area Network/Enterprise Network transport systems. Works with transport engineering on large projects and system implementation. Guides and advises less experienced Software Systems Engineers. Requires guidance in complex problem areas. Errors may cause major delay, expense, and disruption.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
3 years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years SONET and/or MPLS Provisioning experience. (Note: For related experience requirements, a Master's degree will count as one year of experience. Six months or more of experience will be rounded up to one year of experience).
Related experience desired: Cyber Security Skills, Network Management System Administrator, Telecommunications Systems Monitoring Experience, LTE Network Management
