Senior Business Performance Analyst

Job Summary

Work independently with business unit management to prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process.  Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.  Identify and implement better work and business processes.  Develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs and models to support the development of business strategies.  Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies.  Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature.  Provide assistance and leadership to co-workers.

 

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences required for entry into this job include the following:

 

  • 5+ years of relevant directly related work experience;
  • Ability to run detailed models for forecasting bad debt
  • Required to work closely with Accounting and Finance partners to ensure accurate reporting requirements
  • Develop strong relationships with accounting team  This is captured above
  • Will work with Collection agencies and other third party companies to monitor collection activities
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously;
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making;
  • Effective analytical skills;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
