SAP ABAP/Fiori Developer - Senior Programmer Analyst

Job Summary

This position will be located at Riverfront Plaza - 915 E Byrd Street Richmond, VA 23219.
 

Dominion Energy (DE) has filed for and received regulatory approval to replace its current Customer Information System and several other critically dependent customer applications including the web & mobile self-service platform (Manage Account), call center platform (Gateway), meter data management (MDM) and other associated systems that are collectively referred to as the Customer Core Solution.
 

DE has selected SAP’s S/4HANA for Utilities and C/4HANA Service Cloud software for its new Customer Core Platform. The Customer Core initiative launched in July 2020 and will be implemented at the end of Q1 2023.
 

This position is for an experienced resource to develop custom programs in Meter-to-Cash business processes for both regulated and deregulated Gas/Electric utilities as part of development workstream on the Customer Core project. 

Specific responsibilities include: 
 

  • Experienced in extracting data from various database like Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 using SQL 
  • Experienced in implementing solutions for mainframes & Client-server applications involved wide range of technologies
  • Experience with HP ALM, Azure DevOps 
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps Library, App configuration & Extensibility 
  • Experienced in coordinating onsite & offshore technical teams
  • Create and maintain high level implementation plans, design documentation, and data and process models
  • Work with the users, technical and solution architects to define the data requirements and structure for the application
  • Review the application Deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards
  • Understand business requirements behind assigned tasks
  • Prepare data for testing, execute and verify test cycles


The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined above.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

10+ years of IT experience with design, development, testing and deployment of mainframe and client server applications.  (Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.  A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one full year).  Other knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
 

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps Library, App configuration and Extensibility

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
