Job Summary
Empower the future of clean energy with your analytical skills as a Renewable Operations Analyst I at Dominion Energy!
As a Renewable Operations Analyst, you can make a difference by assisting with the integration and transition of current Third-Party managed O&M sites. The integration will include functional Generation Management System Controls testing, O&M alarms testing, and documenting any actions that require correction.
This position will require rotating shift coverage 24x7 to include nights, weekends, and holidays. In real-time the Renewable Operations Analyst will analyze renewable generation assets alarms as well as substation alarms for both distribution and transmission connected assets. Those alarms may include inverter faults, grid faults, and general alarms indicating degradation of site performance.
Provides timely communication of changes to site status to the Renewable Technicians in the field via both verbal and SAP notifications and manage site access logs. Renewable Analyst will coordinate with field technicians to analyze site status, develop a return to service plan with the goal to maximize production hours and minimize down time. Work with the field technicians to re-energize site and return site online.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of renewable generation concepts
- Ability to learn job-specific computer applications; provide analysis of data
- Ability to handle constantly changing and emerging priorities
- Ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skills: Interpersonal; verbal and written communications; analytical thinking; proficient computer skills and demonstrated proficiency working in various software applications such as Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications; problem resolution; ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously; handling constantly changing and emerging priorities; demonstrated sound analysis skills.
