We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
Power Generation – Renewable Energy is seeking a Project Manager to support solar operations. This position entails the management of various commercial aspects of our utility scale solar and storage projects located in Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, and California.
Responsibilities:

Provide project management leadership to ensure the successful operation and management of a portfolio of renewable energy ventures.

Coordinate environmental/safety compliance projects and off-taker agreement requirements to ensure performance excellence across the solar fleet.

Assist with financial forecasting and performance summaries and provide reporting to leadership.

Support the project team and assist in resolving commercial and warranty issues.

Collaborate with the site management team, partners, vendors, and internal resources such as (legal, energy marketing, engineering, accounting, regulatory compliance, tax and environmental) to achieve maximum site profitability.

Coordinate contract negotiation, modification, and execution.

Manage relationships with all stakeholders including landowners and local, state, and federal regulators.

Assist with the management and monitoring of scope, schedule, budget and risk of onsite projects.

Perform site visits and provide direction/feedback directly to service providers and contractors.

Work with internal environmental and safety teams to ensure compliance at solar facilities.

Develop and monitor project Operating and Maintenance (O&M) budgets and monitor key financial metrics.

Coordinate dialog and information sharing between the site and its marketing agent to aid in the understanding of how operational issues may impact project output and revenues.

Liaise with technical project managers and O&M operations support teams regarding work plans, schedules, and work completion.

Support representation of Dominion's interests in ISO stakeholder groups to ensure renewable energy assets are fairly treated by the marketplace.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 7 + years of directly related experience required.
- Prior experience in contract negotiation, partnerships, project financing and budget development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of renewable energy generation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a variety of people with various levels of understanding of renewable energy, to influence without authority.
- Ability to direct and manage work of contractors/vendors.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple work fronts.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamed environment and interact with internal and external staff.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines: Engineering, Engineering Technology
