We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
The Customer Rates team is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join a high-performing, forward-thinking group at the center of the evolving energy landscape. In this role, you’ll help shape company policy at the intersection of regulatory change, customer impact, and affordability—ensuring we stay ahead in a rapidly transforming electric utility industry. Our team brings a customer-first mindset to everything we do, analyzing how new regulatory requirements and business decisions impact our contracts and tariffs. Every day, you’ll collaborate with leadership to deliver impactful insights and drive informed decisions that balance business objectives with regulatory requirements.
As a Regulatory Specialist, you will:
- Track and interpret regulatory developments, proactively identifying risks and opportunities in a dynamic legal and policy environment
- Manage and evaluate contracts for non-jurisdictional electricity customers, independently assessing how regulatory changes affect pricing and terms
- Provide expert guidance on customer rates to internal teams, external stakeholders, and legal counsel
- Lead pricing strategy efforts, including developing rate applications and ensuring timely, compliant filings
- Translate complex legislative and regulatory changes into actionable internal policies, with a focus on rate-making impacts
- Serve as a key voice in regulatory proceedings, preparing and delivering compelling written and oral testimony
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, commission staff, and industry stakeholders
- Drive complex initiatives requiring deep knowledge of regulatory, economic, and accounting principles
- Support forecasting and financial planning by developing pricing assumptions and insights
- Develop high-quality regulatory filings and materials, including tariffs, testimony, discovery responses, and supporting analyses

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
7-8+ years of experience in state and/or federal regulatory and rate setting process or equivalent experience.
- Ability to be expert witness.
- Effective oral communication, written communication, presentation, coaching and teaching skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced financial concepts, analytical techniques, and regulatory issues.
- Outstanding analytical, computer, problem assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate independently and recommend courses of action in response to inquiries.
- Experience with SAP, preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, required.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:
$102300 - $132800
The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
