Job Summary

Dominion Energy's Facilities Enterprise Real Estate group is looking to hire a Real Estate Analyst or Senior Real Estate Analyst. This position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' knowledge, skills, and abilities. 


Real Estate Analyst Job Summary 

Supports real estate activities associated with leasing, acquisition, and disposition of real property (commercial and industrial) inclusive of solar and solar development. Reviews and/or prepares legal correspondence and documents, to acquire interest in real estate. Negotiates real estate agreements and documents. Responds to business unit requests to interpret real estate documents and assists in guiding business unit projects involving real estate. Abstracts real estate documents, reconciles leases, develops financial analysis, performs property due diligence, develops business cases, performs market analyses, and develops management recommendations. Maintains the company real estate data base management system. Processes required real estate payments. Prepares quarterly real estate filings required for regulatory reporting.
 
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.


Senior Real Estate Analyst Job Summary 
Leads real estate activities on leasing, acquisition, and disposition of real property (commercial and industrial) inclusive of solar and solar Development. Maintains full responsibility and accountability, by coordinating necessary internal and external resources, to manage and deliver results. Analyzes, coordinates evaluate, and reviews, legal correspondence and documents, to acquire interest in real estate. Negotiates real estate terms and conditions for contractual real estate documents. Provides direction to legal on business terms on development legal real estate documents. Analyzes highly complex issues. Provides recommendations on real estate strategy for Business Unit Projects. Responds to business unit requests to interpret real estate documents. Oversees property due diligence, develops business cases, prepares market analyses, and develops management recommendations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Real Estate Analyst: 4 years directly related experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of real estate principles and procedures, plats, surveys, real estate law, business procedures, company policies, and company procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to support commercial real estate projects
  • Demonstrated ability to support solar real estate projects is preferred 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Personal computer skills.
  • Research skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to process information accurately, read surveys, and perform mathematical calculations.

 

Senior Real Estate Analyst: 7+ years directly related experience.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of real estate principles and procedures, plats, surveys, real estate law, business procedures, company policies, and company procedures. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commercial real estate projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead solar real estate projects is preferred
  • Understands greenfield development
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with complex analyses, negotiation, and project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Personal computer skills
  • Research skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to process information accurately, read surveys, and perform mathematical calculations.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: 

Bachelor
