We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

The PG Planning Program Analyst is responsible for conducting Assurance Reviews (AR) to evaluate program readiness and will work with project leaders to identify critical gaps in readiness to deliver.  The analyst will then help accelerate decision-making by developing key initiatives (e.g., renovation of existing generation assets) and decision charters to improve DEV’s readiness to advance desired projects. This role ensures priority initiatives meet time, budget and operational capability expectations while enhancing transparency and accountability across the organization.

 

The Analyst will facilitate quarterly AR review meetings to track progress on priority decisions and resolve issues (e.g., limited resources, permitting). Key responsibilities include cross-functional coordination (e.g., facilitating meetings with Business Development and Regulatory Affairs teams), assessing initiative feasibility through data gathering and analysis, and supporting reporting.

Initiate the assurance review (AR) process for any significant new levers (e.g., levers representing MW contributions greater than ~1% of LSE peak load) being incorporated into the build plan.

Conduct quarterly AR reviews with lever owners to track progress on priority decisions and initiatives aimed at achieving 'path to green' status. Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to measure progress, identify issues and ensure their timely resolution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure consistency in achieving organizational objectives

Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the AR processes. Provide ad hoc support to planning engineer, transmission engineers, and Director as needed (e.g., analytical support, conducting research). Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

3+ years of experience in program analysis, strategic planning, or related roles.

Ability to develop and track KPIs to evaluate initiative effectiveness and progress toward organizational goals.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in monitoring and tracking progress across multiple complex projects.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Proven experience in presenting findings, preparing clear and concise reports, and communicating complex ideas to stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize based on organizational goals and operational efficiency.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong professional presence and ability to conduct meetings independently with senior leaders.

 

Preferred:

Proficiency in using project management and tracking tools to support assurance reviews.

Experience working within utilities (preferably within the PJM market).

Basic understanding of FERC or state-level regulations impacting the utilities sector.

Experience with large-scale projects.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelors

Disciplines preferred: Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration
