We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Coordinates court filings and filing fee payments.
- Assists in legal research and preparing routine, legal documents.
- Coordinates responses to interrogatories, and requests for documents and depositions, for regulatory proceedings and lawsuits.
- Reviews and analyzes basic court documents.
- Drafts pleadings and other court documents, for review by inside counsel.
- Conducts daily review of Federal Register and other publications, to identify proposed laws, regulations, and proceedings that may have impact on company.
- Monitors ongoing proceedings, to identify applicable orders, pleadings, and due dates.
- Updates and maintains computer systems, including legal library tracking system, database of internal opinions and memoranda, and legal docketing system.
- Performs assignments designed to develop work knowledge, skills and abilities, requiring application of policies, procedures, techniques and other criteria in carrying out aspects of the job.
- Performs routine work assignments, but over time will demonstrate ability to perform more difficult work assignments.
- Assists in legal researching and preparing routine legal documents.
- Utilizes technology to improve processes and work standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Paralegal I
- 1-2 years paralegal or related legal support experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to use technologies (databases, collaboration software, etc.) to "think outside the box" to improve routine processes.
Paralegal II
- 3 years paralegal or related legal support experience.
- Mastery of skills at the Paralegal I level.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of law in the area supported.
- Ability to recognize and evaluate legal concepts.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to exercise judgment and decision making in organizing and conducting work assignments.
- Ability to perform duties under minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to use technologies (databases, collaboration software, etc.) to "think outside the box" to improve routine processes.
Education Requirements
GED or High School Graduate
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
