Job Summary
Product Enablement is a critical role focused on advancing Dominion Energy’s product model through two primary areas of responsibility:
1) product squad training and coaching and 2) management of product tooling and analytics. This manager position demands strong technical and functional knowledge and expertise.
The role will oversee Agile coaches’ delivery of high-quality training, coaching, and best practices to empower Agile/product teams, while supporting the development and maintenance of key tools such as Jira.
Key Responsibilities
Product/Agile Training and Coaching:
- Best Practices: Define and document best practices for Agile/Product teams, including workflows, artifacts, forums, and other operational elements. Collaborate with senior product leaders and teams to ensure these practices are practical, relevant, and continuously refined. Clarify roles and responsibilities to drive accountability and operational clarity.
- Training and Coaching: Develop and maintain learning materials and training curricula tailored to the needs of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and/or other Agile team members. Deliver targeted training sessions (e.g., product squad launches, onboarding for new Product Managers, and tool-specific sessions such as Jira tutorials). Oversee and provide delivery of hands-on, in-the-field coaching focused on high-quality OKRs and effective ways of working.
- Community Building: Facilitate communities (COE) of practice for Product/Agile team members (e.g., POs, Scrum Masters) to foster collaboration, share insights, and promote continuous learning.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change strategy development and implementation for transformations. Facilitate mindset shifts and behavioral changes necessary for successful adoption of Agile and Product Model.
PM Tooling and Analytics:
- Tooling Ownership: Act as the Product Manager for tools that enable product teams (e.g., Jira); oversee tool selection, configuration, and collaboration with technology teams and vendors to deliver enhancements. Develop and implement usage guidelines to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and continuously gather feedback from product teams to refine and optimize tool functionality.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance Product/Agile team workflows, leveraging emerging technologies (e.g., AI) where valuable to streamline processes.
- Performance Standards and Analytics: Define and implement standards for how Product/Agile teams should use OKRs, KPIs, and analytics to measure success. Collaborate with team of Agile coaches and other Office of the CIO team members and PMO to analyze Product Model input, output, and outcome metrics, generating actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
12+ years of directly related experience, including five years of agile implementation and support.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks, tooling configuration, and analytics best practices, as well as training program development for cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional efforts, coach teams, and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Strong communication skills to deliver impactful training, coaching, and reporting to both teams and executive stakeholders.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
