We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Learns to analyze daily order priority, order volume, and resource availability to ensure efficient routing and dispatching to field personnel. Develops skills for communicating with field metering personnel through various channels to adjust routes and work accordingly. Develops the ability to efficiently monitor and initiate routing plans throughout the day to ensure highest priority orders are dispatched to accommodate an 8 hour day, with a focus on minimizing overtime. Learns to update ARCOS, to determine resource needs, and to initiate callouts. With assistance, supports communications from stakeholders such as Call Center representatives, field Operations and Construction personnel, Billing, Credit, Regional Operations Center (ROC), as well as external customers. With training, performs a wide variety of specialized and complex metering functions (Priority Work Requests-PWQ, daily route scheduling, etc.). Learns a wide variety of information related to Metering Operations and procedures to be able to answer questions. With training, utilizes computer systems and/or related equipment to record, enter, store and retrieve information (Service Order Automated Routing System (SOAR), SAP, Billing, Credit, ARCOS). Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

0 to 2 years of related experience (Metering Field Scheduling Analyst I) or 3+ years of related experience (Metering Field Scheduling Analyst II). Ability to continually analyze information and data throughout the day in the performance of duties and responsibilities. Ability to manage multiple activities, remote resources, and constantly changing priorities. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to learn company and department procedures associated with field metering support and their application. Ability to learn and apply relevant IBEW contract provisions. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Good general computer skills with word processing and database applications (and ability to learn specific systems such as SAP, CBMS, and SOAR). Strong keyboarding skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability and desire to work non-traditional shifts. May require certifications or special training. Associates degree a plus
