We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Leads a team of Individual Contributors who oversee Sourcing Specs, Logistics Specs, and manages Category Managers, and Materials Management. Ensure compliance involving procurement activities in accordance with strategic sourcing strategies for assigned Business Units. Coach and directs teams to improve upon key Supply Chain objectives of innovation, automation, quality, risk, sustainability, and cost considerations. Develop and maintain relationships with assigned business units, to facilitate understanding of business needs and Supply Chain requirements. Forecast and manage spend analysis, prioritization, and selection of sourcing initiatives. Manage compliance with SCM policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls. Assist with leading major negotiations and drive supplier integration. Monitor and evaluate Supply Chain risks, including critical materials, suppliers, potential threats (cyber, environmental, safety, sustainability, etc.). Recommend or establish mitigation strategies, technical and quality requirements, on safety and non-safety materials and services. Support Dominion Energy in delivering strategic objectives, taking responsibility for engaging with business units to ensure a teaming approach throughout the procurement lifecycle. Partner and regularly engage with business unit stakeholders to demonstrate the true value of Supply Chain. Assess and prioritize department and/or project requirements and resource needs. Hire and retain a strong talent pool to support departmental objectives and business needs. Seek opportunities to develop individual contributors through personalized goals and objectives. Ensure quality and competency within the Category Management team is maintained at expected standards to ensure good value, minimization of rework, and all compliance requirements.   Monitor and understand category market trends. Develops and maintains strong working relationship with key supplier leadership. Accountable for supplier performance evaluations and implement supplier performance improvements, as necessary. Has in-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions to provide leadership and guidance on major contract negotiations. Plan and implement communications on initiatives and strategies. Ability to lead cross functional teams and experience in working with resolution management. Drives the development and implementation of category plans that support business unit objectives. Interfaces and coordinates with other Supply Chain organizations to develop collaborative approach to developing critical contracts for the organization. Interfaces with executive level leaders and delivers frequent Supply Chain updates and dashboards. Responsible for hiring highly qualified people to back fill vacant positions. Develops and implements on-boarding plans for all hires. Identify and implement growth and development opportunities for staff. Responsible for management of departmental budget.

8-10+ years of related experience.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management
