Job Summary
Helps lead in developing comprehensive, communication programs that keep employees informed of company events, industry events, relevant business issues, company issues, and human resources matters. Develops story ideas and makes assignments. Edits and produces news and feature articles in all company publications, videos, and the intranet. Supervises or performs desktop publishing and photography. Directs and counsels Internal Communications employees.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
8-10+ years of experience in news media or corporate communications or a related discipline.
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
- Experience managing enterprise-wide employee communications.
- Previous experience with utility communications is preferred but not required.
- Experience supervising and providing guidance to team members.
- Demonstrated:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to interact with and counsel senior management.
Note: This position will require working outside core working hours as needed.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
Disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication.
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:
$116300 - $151100
The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
