We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
This role manages and directs large major construction projects (significant capital budget with 2 - 5 years duration). Has main accountability and responsibility for project oversite. Directs multiple teams including engineering, construction and commissioning functions. Has responsibility for and manages total project scope, schedule and budget from conception to completion. Manages necessary resources (including construction project managers, contractors, Dominion project managers, engineers, technicians, start-up and commissioning teams) and administration from within and outside the organization including contractors and employees. Responsibility for compliance with contracts (safety, environmental, technical, quality and commercial). Primary interface with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors and other contractors that interface with project including Transmission, gas pipeline, utilities, local community organizations and site inspectors. Has ultimate responsibility to transition project from Construction to Operations. Typically has multiple discipline oversight (technical and business) accountability and reports to a Director or Executive.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
-8-10+ years of relevant experience in project management of large and/or complex projects.
-Excellent Demonstrated Leadership Skills
-Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
-Ability to represent the project team and the company in public forums.
-Strong team building skills.
-EPC contract management and negotiating skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities.
-Strong understanding of contracts and contractual risks and structure.
-Strong commercial, technical and construction knowledge and skills.
-Demonstrated on-site leadership skills.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines: Engineering
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Preferred: Six Sigma Certification

Working conditions will include a combination of office and field work. Field work will be located at a major construction site and include all potential hazards associated with a construction environment. Employee could be expected to spend up to 50% of their time in the field monitoring construction activities.
