Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking students to participate in our internship program.
- This position requires basic understanding of electronic equipment operation and functionality as well as the technical ability to provide hands on troubleshooting of the equipment as instructed.
- Research, resolve, and respond to complex issues received through generated tickets, emails, and the network operations center under general supervision.
- The position provides field support for various telecommunication and network systems and the associated infrastructure for local offices and remote location throughout the Virginia and North Carolina area.

- Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize IT software programs
- Must have strong technical background and problem-solving skills; coursework or experience in electronics, electrical theory, engineering, information systems, telecommunication and network principles preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Windows, and Office 365
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team
- Must live within a 45 minute commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to start fall of 2025
Education Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Students should be graduating in the fall of 2026 or later.
- Be willing to work partitme during school semesters and full time during approximately mid May - early August.
