Job Summary
The Customer Credit Services Intern will support process improvement, operational analysis, and customer service initiatives within the Credit Services organization. This role provides hands-on experience analyzing business processes, identifying operational efficiencies, and assisting with customer account-related research and resolution activities. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects that enhance the customer experience, strengthen compliance, and improve overall business performance.
Through this internship, students will gain exposure to:
- Utility credit and collections operations
- Customer affordability and assistance programs
- Process improvement methodologies
- Business analytics and reporting
- Regulatory and compliance considerations
- Customer dispute resolution and account management
- Cross-functional project management and stakeholder engagement
- Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support process documentation and workflow enhancements.
- Conduct research on customer account issues, including medical certifications, identity verification, and billing disputes.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and special projects.
- Support customer affordability, collections, and compliance initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Works independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.
- This internship opportunity is also open to applicants who are enrolled members of a Native American Tribe.
Education Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related business field
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must have a graduation date of 2028 or 2029

Hourly Rate:
$25.00 - $27.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
