Job Summary
This intern offers support to the Corporate Philanthropy and Community Engagement teams. This position, based on the successful candidate’s skill set, may be assigned various tasks to include impact measurement, volunteer coordination and event planning.
Specific Responsibilities may include:
- Data Analysis – Assist in designing and maintaining dashboards to track grants, sponsorships, and employee giving and volunteerism impact.
- Volunteer Coordination – assist in organizing volunteer opportunities for employees, event promotion and recruiting of volunteers, tracking participation and feedback, and tracking volunteerism data and metrics.
- Event Planning & Coordination – Support logistics of nonprofit partner gatherings and community events, including timelines, communications and promotional materials, and on-site event management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data tools is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable around team members at all levels, including senior leadership
- Passion for community impact
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Education Requirements
- Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university
- Must be majoring in Communications, English, History, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, Management Information Systems, or related
- Must have a 2.5 GPA or greater
- Must have a graduation date of 2027 or 2028
