We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Develops financial analysis, strategic recommendations and process improvements in support of key financial and regulatory processes such as rate cases, regulatory scenario modeling, budget updates and special projects.

Works with senior management to develop, monitor, execute and influence regulatory strategy. 

Supports budget development by partnering with business and finance leads to help translate regulated business strategy into expected financial outcomes. 

Assists in special projects by providing analytics and expertise in the regulatory modeling space such as potential acquisition/divestiture opportunities.


There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into the Financial Analyst include the following:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in financial management and analysis; utility and/or relevant industry; accounting standards and practices.
  • Skills: excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication, teamwork, analytical and customer focus skills.
  • Some expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis; capital allocation; project financial analysis; M&A analysis; due diligence process; understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aptitude for continuous learning.


The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into the Senior Financial Analyst include the following:

  • 5-6+ years of experience in financial management and analysis; utility and/or relevant industry; accounting standards and practices.
  • Excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication, team work, analytical and customer focus skills.
  • Requires ability to work under limited supervision and direction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis; capital allocation; project financial analysis; M&A analysis; due diligence process; understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aptitude for continuous learning.


Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience towards the experience requirement.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:  Bachelor
