Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst- Part Time

Job Summary

There is one position available that will be filled at either the Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst level, commensurate with the selected candidates' skills and abilities. This posting is hiring for a part-time position.  


This role collaborates with Dominion Energy Services stakeholders to prepare capital and operations & maintenance budgets/forecasts, analyze results and support strategic initiatives. 
 

  • Develops and leads financial analysis;
  • Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills;
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and Power Point;
  • Organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication;
  • Self-motivated proactive work style;
  • Aptitude for continuous learning;
  • Ability to create dashboarding solutions are helpful, but not required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Financial Analyst:
3 years related experience (Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.  A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year)


Sr Financial Analyst:
5+ years of directly related experience is required.  (Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.  A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one full year.)


Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
 

  • Knowledge in financial management and analysis, utility and/or relevant industry, accounting standards and practices;
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and Power Point;
  • SAP/Business Warehouse (BW) or equivalent experience and an ability to create Dashboarding solutions are helpful, but not required;
  • Skills: excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication;
  • Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills;
  • Requires ability to work under limited supervision and direction;
  • Self-motivated proactive work style;.
  • Aptitude for continuous learning;
  • Data analytics across multiple data sources. 


The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined above.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
