We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy has a need for an Energy Solutions Specialist supporting the residential energy solutions business lines on the Customer Energy Solutions Team to support the advancement of the Company’s vision for cleaner, more sustainable and resilient energy solutions.
- This position works independently in the development, implementation and administration of Customer Energy Solutions models and business activities across the Dominion Energy enterprise.
- Leverages technical expertise and applicable software applications to design customer projects compliant with all applicable laws, codes, and best practices.
- Provides project management with vendor selection, managing vendor networks, and monitoring and advising on vendor contract performance and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and project support to ensure customer projects are executed seamlessly, on-time, and on-budget.
- Works with internal stakeholders to administrate a robust customer database ensuring data integrity, quality, and accessibility of the organization’s customer data.
- Works alongside a sales team providing timely back-office support. Interacts directly with customers, as business needs require.
- Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders on existing and new business integrations and implementations.
- Manages multiple deadlines and the supporting activities to follow a project through completion.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following:
Energy Solutions Specialist: 3+ years directly related experience
- Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously;
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making;
- Experience in, or demonstrated aptitude to learn, project design software including Aurora, Helioscope, PVSyst, etc.
- Strong customer service skillset and a collaborative and relational mindset.
- Effective analytical skills and excellent computer skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
Education Level:
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
Disciplines: Preferred: Accounting; Business Economics; Engineering; Finance; Liberal Arts
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
