We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

This role includes dual responsibility for developing and managing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. This role will also be responsible for developing budgets, operating plans and business cases to achieve the prescribed programmatic objectives. Programmatic responsibilities include development of business partnerships with a variety of internal departments, external customers, regulatory, governmental entities, and industry peers. Responsible for analyzing program risks and producing accurate and timely reports of program status throughout its life cycle. Develop strategic initiatives with business development and key accounts team to refine services and offerings. Partner with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. Serve as spokesperson to ensure company messages are conveyed consistently and accurately. Support of necessary contract negotiations as well as the consistent compliance and execution of applicable contracts. Support of research and development of regulatory filings and RFPs as needed. Understanding of relevant levers that enable nimble financial adjustments to ensure program budgets are consistently achieved. Establish project milestones and monitoring ongoing costs and document scope changes and cost overruns. Responsible for necessary customer outreach and achievement of customer commitments. This this position will support and lead grant opportunities for the Electrification team.

 

The home office for this position is flexible within Dominion Energy DEV locations.

 

Note: Relevant programs include Broadband, DER Interconnects, Strategic Underground, and Project management and grant writing experience a plus. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-7-8+ years related energy industry experience; 
-Prior experience in process management and project management; 
-Strong leadership, organizational, resolution management, and team building skills; 
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
-Ability to identify and assess risks and opportunities. 

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines: Business, Business Admin/Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Technology

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
