Job Summary

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for revolutionizing advertising strategies? Dominion Energy is seeking a Director - Advertising and Creative Design to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will manage and innovate our brand and advertising efforts across TV, social media, and other digital platforms.  A key aspect of this role is the creation and utilization of targeted personas to drive multiple strategic advertising campaigns, ensuring we connect with our audience in a more personalized and effective manner. Additionally, this Director will oversee two key groups: the advertising team and the branding team for both South Carolina and Virginia. These two teams are responsible for the development of all types of print and digital media. This director will also need to be adept at collaborating with and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external clients.
 

Responsible for setting and implementing advertising strategies, managing advertising campaigns, building relationships with internal clients, and managing our advertising department. Oversees Company's creative design team including development of all types of print and digital media. Duties include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing comprehensive advertising strategies, managing the creation and delivery of effective advertising campaigns; managing relationships with internal partners and clients; Leading our advertising and creative design teams; Allocate resources efficiently to meet advertising objectives, Monitor advertising projects and analyze their effectiveness; preparing and managing the advertising budget; staying up-to-date with the latest advertising trends and industry standards. Makes and implements decisions about workforce composition and headcount to respond to evolving demands of advertising and advocacy.
 

Duties include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive advertising strategies
  • Managing the creation and delivery of effective advertising campaigns;

  • Monitor advertising projects and analyze their effectiveness;

  • staying up-to-date with the latest advertising trends and industry standards.
  • Makes and implements decisions about workforce composition and headcount to respond to evolving demands of advertising and advocacy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in advertising, communications, creative services or other related areas.  Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.  A partial year of six months or more of experience will be rounded up to one year of experience.

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

 

  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and executing successful advertising campaigns across various media platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and direct a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Education Requirements

Degree or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:  Bachelor
