Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking a program marketing specialist to join our brand team as a Communications Consultant – Program Marketing. This role will lead marketing strategy and execution for energy efficiency programs, bringing a strong mix of awareness and conversion driving expertise to campaign development and media planning. The ideal candidate should have experience in executing performance or acquisition marketing campaigns.
The role will work to translate complex program offerings into compelling, actionable messaging across digital, traditional, and owned channels. They will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and program implementers to deliver full-funnel campaigns that drive customer participation. They will have demonstrated success with data-driven marketing strategies, stakeholder management, and effective creative development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for multiple energy efficiency programs in partnership with program specialists and the marketing agency.
- Translate program goals into clear creative briefs and oversee the development of breakthrough, effective creative work.
- Support program implementers with marketing alignment, execution, and reporting. Drive improvements in media and messaging at the implementer level as needed.
- Review, monitor, and evolve paid media plans.
- Analyze customer, market, and performance data to inform strategy and campaign optimizations
- Leverage customer segmentation to build targeted media personas
- Manage stakeholder relationships across business units and with external partners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
8+ years of advertising and/or marketing experience in a corporate role or at an agency. Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one year.
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
- Experience in performance marketing or acquisition marketing strategy.
- Proven success leading multi-channel campaigns across digital (programmatic and direct), social (Meta, LinkedIn), email marketing, and Google Ads.
- Proven success managing cross-functional teams. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, customer-facing messaging
- Experience with campaign performance analysis and optimization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in program or product marketing management
- Familiarity with marketing regulated programs
- Familiarity with basic CX principles
- Experience working with marketing automation platforms
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
