We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

The Change Enablement Specialist consults within DEV business areas to facilitate the implementation of technology and/or large-scale change to business processes.  Utilizing OCM (Organizational Change Management) methodology and using internal templates to work with project teams, the Specialist will be responsible for delivering recurring online seminar training sessions and in-person classroom sessions based on business demands. 

Responsibilities Inculde:

  • Designing, developing, and delivering in person and online instructional materials with interactive and multimedia technology-driven components consistent with established design and development processes to ensure agility.
  • Designing, developing, and creating highly effective, results driven curriculum to support the learning and development needs of stakeholders.
  • Planning and developing course goals and objectives to foster knowledge and skill development of LDC program participants.
  • Arranging instructional sequences to create quantitative and qualitative measurement tools and integrates reporting requirements.
  • Running pilot tests to check functionality and ensure full scale utilization.
  • Ability to facilitate, co-facilitate, provide coaching to SME (subject matter experts) facilitators on best practices for delivery using various media.
  • Working independently to meet deadlines while coordinating with and soliciting input on materials from subject matter experts.
  • Learning and sustaining an elevated level of acumen across Dominion Energy's Electric Distribution business areas to account for impact to stakeholder adoption pathways or barriers. 
  • Perform all duties, as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Required:

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in adult learning, curriculum development, and curriculum delivery for a variety of modalities (web-based/online courses, instructor-led, & virtual).
  • Understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience in instructional design, technical communication, and multimedia content development.
  • Experience delivering classroom-based technology training.
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of and experience/skill in use of varied LMS systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in instructional design, technical communication, and multimedia content development. 

Preferred:

  • Certification in change management is preferred, not required.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Familiarity with electric utility industry preferred, not required

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:

  • Proficient in utilizing tools and software to track progress and measure success.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights that inform change strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Planner, To-Do, Project Plan 5, SharePoint, etc.) to facilitate remote communication and project management.
  • Familiarity with a variety of digital content creation platforms (Vyond, Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience working with Office 365, Captivate, Articulate Storyline, eLearning platforms, and web communication tools.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: 

  • Bachelors

Disciplines preferred: Adult education and Instructional design.
