We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

The Business Technology Consultant serves as the technical expert individual contributor responsible for driving organized and effective requirements to build both projects and products. This individual provides technical consulting, acting as a business specialist and technology generalist, devising and modifying procedures to solve complex technical problems related to systems. The Business Technology Consultant will create detailed requirements from which specifications will be written, aligning technology solutions with business strategies. This individual will collaborate with Product Owners to shape the end-to-end product strategy, determine business value, and ensure alignment with the overall product vision.  The Business Technology Consultant will elicit requirements, translate user needs into user stories, accept criteria, and test plans, and serve as the day-to-day contact for requirement clarification.  The Consultant will identify and engage stakeholders, set vision, and procure buy-ins for products, develop OKRs, and lead the product team. The Business Technology Consultant will define, implement, and track performance metrics for solutions entering production, ensure testing of features and functionalities is integrated into the development process, and develop test plans. Additionally, the role manages budget and resourcing on non-mission critical applications, facilitate priority setting, and work with individual business units on multi-project assignments. Mentor, and lead other Business Technology Analysts, participate in the creation of standard tools used by this discipline, and ensure compliance on usage within the group. Errors in work may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-7+ years of directly related experience.
-Expert understanding of business systems and industry requirements, and experience in leading multi-disciplinary work teams and groups. 
-IT experience in business systems analysis in a large-scale environment, across multiple hardware and software platforms, or business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of large-scale systems.
-Demonstrated competency in verbal, written, and presentation communications, interpersonal understanding.
-Ability to research and understand customer issues is essential. 
-Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the Information Technology team's knowledge of and concern for the customer's business needs. 
-Ability to work with all levels of employees, influence and impact others, develop others, and achieve results through others is crucial. 
-Strong organization and planning skills, including coordination of assigned projects, planning, scheduling, and time management, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures. 
-Experience in adaptation to, and application of, rapidly changing technology to business needs.
-Demonstrated business systems understanding and orientation, flexibility, and the ability to develop programs and conduct training are required. 
-Work independently, maintain self-control, and have a strong achievement orientation and concern for quality. 
-Expert knowledge of digital domains, products, and user journeys, significant experience with management and prioritization of the product backlog.
-Strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to challenge the status quo, seek new solutions, and embrace change are essential.
-Experience collaborating across various stakeholders to compile requirements and understand agile processes is also necessary.

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:

 

$102,300 - $132,800

 

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
