We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Candidate will be involved in AI related research and development activities. This includes working closely with IT architects, ITBA Product teams, IT Infrastructure Operations, and Cyber Intelligence and Security teams to evaluate new tools and technologies, and work with developers to build and implement AI solutions within Dominion Energy’s environment. Works with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments. Plays a crucial role in driving organized and effective requirements to build AI products and solutions. This role requires constant adaptation and innovation to turn customer needs into actionable outputs.

Responsibilities:  
•    Act as a liaison between client areas and Information Technology teams by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems.
•    Provide business consultation to business owners, defining business requirements, and analyzing impacts to business and systems.
•    Support Product Owners to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value.
•    Help prepare scope documents, objectives and key results, functional and technical specifications, integration and regression test plans in support of product development and enhancements.
•    Document and refine user stories/requirements based on a thorough understanding of the business area and processes.
•    Research, analyze, and evaluate data from various sources to make recommendations for program and process improvements.
•    Help evaluate AI and Emerging Technologies from a functional, technical, and risk standpoint and support full scale implementations.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
•    Stay current with industry advancements and continuously seek opportunities to improve AI capabilities within the organization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

  • 2+ Years of experience in business systems analysis and product development.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Generative AI or AI/ML solution delivery.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including organizational and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficiency in presenting information through written and verbal communications.
  • Strong facilitation skills for gathering requirements and designing business processes related to system change requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate issue resolutions through direct interaction with clients and application developers.
  • Ability to write test scripts and perform functional and regression testing of systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of products and user journeys; ability to quickly learn industry trends and end-user demands; experience with managing product backlogs and tracking metrics critical to product teams.
  • Ability to perform technical analysis of various data and business problems with strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning & experience deploying AI solutions.
  • Good understanding of IT security best practices by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines.
    Good self-starter who has ability to operate independently and demonstrates complete ownership over assigned objectives.
  • Ability to perform well within a team-based and agile environment.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to effectively manage multiple, competing projects/priorities while achieving targeted completion results.
  • Ability to maintain technical proficiency via self or formal training.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.
