We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Business Performance Analyst

This Business performance Analyst in the Electric Distribution Technical Applications and Business support department. The analyst will support analysis, support, and building dashboards in PowerBI and Oracle’s Outage Utility Analytics (OUA) platform. They also will work with other stakeholders such as the Operations Engineering team, Regional Operating Centers, etc.  

Define and develop metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Identify and implement better work and business processes. Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies. Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature. 

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making. 

  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical audiences 

 

Senior Business Performance Analyst 

Work independently with business unit management to prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process.  Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.  Identify and implement better work and business processes.  Develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs and models to support the development of business strategies.  Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies.  Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature.  Provide assistance and leadership to co-workers. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

 

Business Performance Analyst

2-3+ years of relevant experience in directly related field. Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making. Effective analytical skills. Strong computer skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong Knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, Access and SQL preferred.  

 

Senior Business Performance Analyst

5-6+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field. Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved. Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management. Strong customer service orientation.

Strong knowledge of PowerBi, Excel, Access, and SQL preferred.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor 

Preferred Discipline(s):  Technical, Business, Data Science, or Engineering Technology 

Other discplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
