We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Dominion Energy has an exciting Business Performance Analyst role to fill with our Fleet Management team. The level of the position will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

 

Responsible for supporting Fleet Management business operations through administration of fleet data, financial transactions, reporting activities, customer support processes, and operational controls. Assists with recurring business processes including asset administration, billing support, fuel card activities, data validation, reconciliations, reporting, and documentation. Completes assigned work according to established procedures, investigates routine issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Works closely with Fleet Management personnel and business partners to maintain accurate information, support operational decision-making, and provide quality customer service.

 

Associate Business Performance Analyst Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support daily Fleet Management business processes and transactions.
  • Maintain fleet asset, customer, billing, and operational records.
  • Assist with financial processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
  • Prepare recurring operational and management reports.
  • Research routine data and transaction exceptions.
  • Maintain process documentation and work instructions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests.
  • Participate in testing, system enhancements, and process improvement efforts.
  • Support internal control, audit, and compliance activities.
  • Develop working knowledge of fleet operations, business systems, and reporting processes.
  • Support business continuity, knowledge management, and process standardization.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Business Performance Analyst Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage assigned Fleet Management processes from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure accurate execution of fleet transactions, reporting, and financial activities.
  • Perform process reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze operational and financial information to support business decisions.
  • Investigate process, system, and data issues and coordinate resolution.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, controls, and business documentation.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Develop business requirements and process recommendations.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.
  • Provide guidance to Associate Business Process Analysts.
  • Advance business continuity, knowledge management, and process standardization
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

 

Senior Performance Analyst Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead complex Fleet Management initiatives and strategic improvement efforts.
  • Serve as the senior subject matter expert for critical business processes.
  • Establish and maintain process standards, governance practices, and controls.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving Operations, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Technology, and external partners.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
  • Evaluate operational, financial, and process risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Lead system implementations, process redesign efforts, and automation initiatives.
  • Oversee reporting frameworks and data quality standards.
  • Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor analysts and support team development.
  • Promote business continuity, knowledge management, and process standardization.
  • Represent Fleet Management on enterprise initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Lead business continuity, knowledge management, and process standardization efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Associate Business Performance Analyst: 0-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

 

Business Performance Analyst: 2-3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage recurring business activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with process analysis, reporting, and business systems.
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making.

 

Sr. Business Performance Analyst: 5-6+ years of relevant experience.

  • Significant experience leading business process and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, reporting, and organizational processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence organizational decisions through data and business analysis.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor 

Preferred Discipline(s): Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management, Operations Management

Other discplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, process improvement, data analytics, internal controls, finance, or fleet management may be preferred based on the assignment.

What You'll Get

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:

Associate    Salary Range $52,800 to $68,600 

Mid level     Salary Range $65,500 to $85,000

Senior         Salary Range $81,900 to $106,400

 

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
