We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
This role performs environmental and sustainability audits. Documents, analyzes and evaluates compliance with applicable federal, state and local environmental laws, regulations, permits, and agreements. Gathers, analyzes and performs tests, including fieldwork, to develop audit findings and prepare workpapers for documentation. Communicates audit findings and recommendations to management through written reports and oral presentations. Provides consulting services to management on environmental issues.
This position can be based out of the Richmond, VA or Cayce, SC office locations.
This position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Auditor: 3-5 years of environmental, sustainability, audit, or related experience. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one year.)
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, processes, and systems, and preferred knowledge of auditing standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient personal computer skills and prefer proficiency in computer auditing techniques.
Senior Auditor: 5+ years of environmental, sustainability, audit, or related experience. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one year.)
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, processes, and systems, and auditing standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient personal computer skills and computer auditing techniques.
- Proficient project management skills and organizational skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.
Preferred Disciplines: Environmental Sciences, Engineering or other related disciplines.
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Pro. Enviro. Auditor (CPEA)
