We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Dominion Resources seeks candidates for an Associate or Intermediate IT Compliance Analyst position located in Richmond, Virginia. Position responsibilities include supporting compliance programs for a SCADA EMS system, Synchrophasor System, and a few other smaller programs used to operate and monitor the Electric Transmission power system. A broad knowledge and/or willingness to learn a variety of skills from compliance, configuration, documentation, cyber security best practices, technical writing, etc. It is essential the successful applicant be a highly motivated self-starter that can and will be responsible for their work with minimal direction and supervision.
One position is available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Works independently and as part of the team. Assists with implementing or maintaining a compliance program for a group of applications or systems. Participates on compliance related projects requiring knowledge of regulatory requirements. Assists with creating effective compliance processes and procedures, for systems and applications. Completes compliance-related data requests. Assists with developing plans for remediation. Helps identify opportunities for strengthening compliance controls. Raises awareness of current and upcoming policies, regulations, and requirements.
- Working with other internal departments to collect procedural and technical documentation required to demonstrate adherence to cyber requirements.
- Evaluating procedural and technical documentation against compliance obligations to determine relevance and applicability for external auditors and internal investigations.
- Providing assistance in compliance-related projects requiring basic knowledge of regulatory requirements as well as basic knowledge of security architecture, technology best practices, and business area requirements.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of compliance processes and procedures for systems and applications.
- Assisting with the evaluation of processes for failure points and assisting with the implementation of controls to mitigate those potential failures.
- Assisting with the assembly of compliance-related data requests.
- Assisting with investigations into process failures and assist with developing recommended remediation plans.
- Maintaining policy and program documentation.
- Identifies opportunities for strengthening compliance controls proactively.
- Raises awareness of current and upcoming policies, regulations, and requirements, and develops solutions for compliance.
- Typically acts as the subject matter expert in for applicable compliance standards
- Researches, investigates, devises and/or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, including but not limited to, systems architecture requirements and limitations, compliance solutions and mitigations, and other technical and non-technical requirements as necessitated by business needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Associate IT Compliance Analyst: 0-2+ years directly related experience.
IT Compliance Analyst: 2-3+ years directly related experience
- IT audit, compliance, or technology experience.
- Basic knowledge of cyber regulations, cyber security best practices, and application testing practices or audit testing approaches.
- Understanding of IT regulatory standards and requirements.
- Ability to document and update IT controls for compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Strong written and oral communications skills and possesses the drive to independently learn and become an expert in the evolving cyber regulatory landscape.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Desire and aptitude to learn technical compliance concepts.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
