Job Summary

Do you enjoy learning the “nuts” and “bolts” of technical systems and enjoy ‘tinkering’ with every day technology to see how it works?  Are you someone who likes to read “the fine print” in contracts and technical manuals?  Do you monitor news stories associated with legislation that could affect your everyday life?   If you answered “yes” to these questions, the Associate Cyber Compliance Analyst position may be the one for you. 


Under direct supervision, assists with maintaining the cyber regulatory compliance program for processes, applications and systems across business units.  This job is primarily in support of ensuring adherence to cyber security obligations.  


Job responsibilities include:

 

  • Working with other internal departments to collect procedural and technical documentation required to demonstrate adherence to cyber requirements.
  • Evaluating procedural and technical documentation against compliance obligations to determine relevance and applicability for external auditors and internal investigations.
  • Providing assistance in compliance-related projects requiring basic knowledge of regulatory requirements as well as basic knowledge of security architecture, technology best practices, and business area requirements.
  • Assisting with the implementation of training and information sharing sessions.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of compliance processes and procedures for systems and applications.
  • Assisting with the evaluation of processes for failure points and assisting with the implementation of controls to mitigate those potential failures.
  • Assisting with investigations into process failures and assist with developing recommended remediation plans.
  • Assisting with raising awareness of current and upcoming policies, regulations, and requirements, and developing solutions for compliance.
  • Maintaining policy and program documentation.
  • Working with external governmental departments.
  • Maintaining training content.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.23261

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Bachelor's degree or will obtain a bachelor's degree by December 2021 with 0 to 2 years of cyber or IT audit, compliance or technology experience.

 

  • Possesses the drive to continuously learn new IT and OT technologies and associated regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses a basic knowledge of cyber & human performance controls.
  • Possesses a basic knowledge of cyber security best practices.
  • Possesses a basic understanding and knowledge of current cyber security best practices.


The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined above.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or will obtain a Bachelor's degree by December 2021 required.
