Job Summary

There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.


Dominion Energy’s Regulatory Compliance & Policy (RCP) teams play a critical role in supporting the company’s culture of compliance, our commitment to protecting our customers’ personal information, as well as our policy engagement in electric markets and NERC and its regional entities. RCP is seeking a motivated team member to help identify, implement and oversee technology, systems and process-based solutions to help increase our effectiveness.
 

This highly visible role will be working with RCP leadership, specifically responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient and economical operations for Dominion Energy. You will have the opportunity to assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the RCP organization, conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the organization’s processes against both industry and non-industry processes, identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire organization without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety.  In addition, you will develop business cases to support these recommendations and monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.


We are looking for candidates who know how to use MS Office effectively and either know or are willing to learn more advanced programs like Publisher and Power BI.  Apply your skills with process modeling tools, process improvement methodologies, benchmarking, project management, and change management to help us deliver and meet our goals in the most efficient way possible.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Associate Business Process Analyst:  0-2 years or relevant exempt experience in a related field.
Business Process Analyst:  2+ years of relevant exempt experience in a related field.  (Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.  A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one year).

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
 

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Power Point, Publisher, and Power BI.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously;
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved;
  • Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to multiple levels within the organization;


The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined above.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
