Associate Business Process Analyst - Customer Information Portal (CIP) Bill Print

Job Summary

 

Work locations for Richmond, VA will be 901 E Byrd, Richmond, VA 23219.  This is a new Company facility. 
This role will be within the Meter to Cash tower for the Customer Information Platform (CIP) project. The CIP project is an initiative to replace technology that is core to the VA and NC electric customer experience including core billing systems and customer facing portals.  The Meter to Cash tower focuses on back office processes including the development of customer bills.  The project will include the analysis, design, building and testing phases in order to implement the new technology.   This role will be responsible for business processes related to the development of customer bills in a viewable format, including physically printed bills or electronically read bills.  The role will work alongside technical expertise, and will primarily have responsibility for business functions. 

The Role will be responsible for the following for the bill print functionality:  

•    Analyze, design and document new business processes.

•    Work with team to identify high-level customer requirements.

•    Identify and define business process and product configuration requirements.

•    Identify and define detailed application requirements.

•    Design the product configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.

•    Participate in transitioning the requirements to the designers and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.

•    Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.

•    Serve as a resource for the Change Management Architects as they evaluate training and performance support needs and design the training and performance support products.

•    Work with the technical team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process. 

•    Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. 
•    Validate product fixes. 

•    Inform the functional lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the process

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-2 Years related experience 
  • Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will count a full year towards the requirements.
  • December 2020 Graduates will be considered

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
