We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Associate Energy Data Analyst - Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI):
In this developmental role, the Analyst learns to ensure accurate and timely energy data for Government, Industrial, large Commercial and Residential accounts which require interval data for billing, internal load research and other purposes. Develops skill in utilizing billing system and complex metering systems, including the Energy IP system (EIP), AMI head-end system (UIQ), Operation Optimizer (OO), Survey & Interval Management System (SIMS) etc., to complete analysis and reports in a timely manner. Learns to analyze energy data needs, such as proration and estimation. Analyzes and remediates gaps or exceptions in energy data as required, to ensure accurate and timely data that is critical for billing. Begins to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety. Monitors the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes to ensure data integrity. Supports ongoing enhancements to the AMI systems and full functionality of AMI capabilities. Coordinates with key stakeholders to analyze AMI exceptions such as meter alarms and communication status issues through daily reporting and detailed analysis. Oversees the performance of remote functionality for smart meters, to ensure high success rates. Works closely with IT to remediate any technical issue impacting performance levels and works closely with business partners to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. Provides effective communication to internal stakeholders and customers. Supports calls from field personnel to provide information, troubleshoot and resolve data and communications issues, requiring fast analysis and resolution of a variety of AMI issues. Learns to prioritize critical activities by understanding stakeholder needs and business impacts. Supports outage and storm related activities. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

This fully proficient role ensures accurate and timely energy data for Government, Industrial, large Commercial and Residential accounts which require interval data for billing, internal load research and other purposes. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Associate Energy Data Analyst - AMI:
• 0-2 years of related experience in metering, operations, credit or other customer service areas. Developing proficiency with Customer Business Management System (CBMS).
• Prefer knowledge of metering, interval data and various rate schedules.
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer service focus.
• Ability to multi-task. Ability to work with a team.
Energy Data Analyst (Mid-Level) - AMI:
• 3-5 years of directly related experience in metering, operations, credit or other customer service areas with the preferred level of education Proficiency in Customer Business Management System (CBMS).
• Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with a team and make critical decisions independently.
• Familiarity with metering, interval data and various rate schedules preferred.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Associate
Preferrred Discipline(s): Information Systems, Technical Studies
