Job Summary
The Change Transformation Project Manager II leads enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that drive organizational readiness, adoption, and sustained business outcomes. Serving as a strategic partner to leaders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams, this role translates complex business and technology changes into practical actions that employees can understand, adopt, and apply in their daily work.
The role provides strategic leadership for large-scale change efforts by aligning stakeholders, developing implementation and adoption strategies, fostering organizational capability, and enabling leaders to successfully navigate transformation. The Project Manager II drives engagement across diverse audiences, builds organizational readiness, and ensures change initiatives deliver measurable value through effective communication, learning, reinforcement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide change programs with high organizational visibility and impact. Develop and oversee integrated implementation and adoption strategies. Advise leaders on readiness, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and adoption planning. Drive governance, prioritization, and resource planning across multiple initiatives. Guide stakeholder engagement and sponsorship strategies. Monitor adoption, value realization, and organizational performance indicators. Present executive-level recommendations, risks, and progress updates. Mentor project managers and contribute to enterprise change management standards and practice. Translate complex business, technology, and AI-enabled initiatives into practical, audience-specific communications and adoption plans.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 7-8+ years in project management, IT project execution, change management, and/or leadership.
- Ability to work well across multiple business areas and with all levels of leadership and staff.
- Strong project management, organization, planning, budgeting, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Change Practitioner certification required within 6 months of position start date (ACMP, Kotter, Prosci or comparable industry certification).
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Preferred Discipline(s): Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
