Job Summary
We are looking for a project management expert to join our Federal Energy Solutions (FES) team at Philadelphia Navy Yard.
• This role is responsible for providing project management of complex Electric Distribution projects and/or ownership of a Federal Privatization Contract. This role includes dual responsibility for developing and managing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. This role will also be operating plans and business cases to achieve the prescribed programmatic objectives.
• You will also work closely with all the Business Partners that support Federal Energy Solutions to develop solutions to initiatives that FES is developing and pursuing
• Develop and maintain the consolidated budget/forecast as well as strategy for PIDC (Philadelphia Industrial Development Authority)
• Supports budget development and consolidation process to ensure timeliness and financial accuracy.
• Typically, projects such as load projects, circuit or, interconnect projects, substation work, Fiber upgrades, new or expansion, capital upgrade projects, nontraditional work.
• Ensures project results meet requirements and provides timely and accurate information and status updates to management and internal and external customers.
• Responsible for complex scope, cost development, validation and/or Government cost quotes, complex permitting, work plans, financial budgets, and customer billing.
• Understanding of relevant levers that enable nimble financial adjustments to ensure program budgets are consistently achieved.
• Establish project milestones and monitoring ongoing costs and document scope changes and cost overruns.
• Programmatic responsibilities include development of business partnerships with a variety of internal departments, external customers, regulatory, governmental entities, industry peers, and key strategic partners.
• Partner with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
• Multi-process responsibility for on installation activities.
• Responsible for onsite and offsite Contractor Management
• Active participation in Re-determination negotiations.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
• 7-8+ years demonstrated experience in project management, relevant technologies, and in the project area.
• Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
• Strong team building skills.
• Effective negotiating skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
• Bachelor
• Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology
